For 50 years, this belief has been the driving force behind the Fondation de France.
It is in this spirit that the Fondation de France "houses" the Fondation La Petite Etoile. It oversees its administrative, financial and legal management. The founders of La Petite Etoile can thus fully dedicate themselves to selecting the projects that inspire them.
As a recognized public utility, the Fondation de France automatically allows donors to the La Petite Etoile Foundation to benefit from tax reductions on income tax, real estate wealth tax and corporate tax.
In terms of projects, the Fondation La Petite Etoile can also rely on the expertise and know-how of the Fondation de France:
- in 20 years, the Fondation de France has devoted nearly €30 million to funding nearly 4,400 projects for children
- since 2012, the Fondation de France has dedicated €4.5 million to the implementation of more than 450 projects aiming to prevent school dropouts
- each year, the Fondation de France funds more than €10 million in medical research projects
- since 1994, the Fondation de France has supported nearly 2,200 projects to help young people suffering from mental illness (eating disorders, suicide attempts, drug use, etc.).
